Many people don’t know too many things about terrorism. That’s why in this article I will try to offer you some useful information about the topic that fills the media. Terrorism is defined as being a criminal or violent act that is done by a section of the people who are against Humanity, Society or the Government from a certain country. Why are these people doing that? Well, they want their demands to be accepted and approved. This is terrorism. To be more specific, terrorism appears when different groups of people adopt violent behavior to change the democratic rules or get their demands approved. Usually, these groups don’t have trust in negotiations because they think that they cannot achieve their purposes. Terrorism has many different faces such as Assassinations, Sabotage, Hijacking of planes, Kidnappings, or Mass killings. However, in all cases their main purpose is to create terror. These antisocial groups don’t have respect for the ethnic values, humanity and government. They are violent because they want to panic the humanity and because they want to terrorize the civic bodies. Their main aims are represented by the fact that by using these methods they can take revenge and have satisfaction of their demands.
What causes terrorism? Dissatisfaction over certain issues is the main cause. People are different and so are their opinions. This means that there will always be several differences of opinion between people, regions, groups, societies or countries. The thing is that terrorists are not able to reconcile like normal people do and they get very frustrated. Their frustration leads to killing, mass violence and lawlessness. The misuse of National or International Machineries is also an important factor that causes terrorism. International or National governments choose to use their might in the wrong locations. They often do the same thing that could be done by the party politics from that region. In other cases, there is a contract between these two parties. The group of people that is at the receiving end becomes frustrated and they start indulging on atrocities. They destroy the normal life because in this way they thing they can draw the attention of the world. Developments in technology and, of course, in science, offered people various destructive arms. There are several regions in the world that are facing an aggravate problem of terrorism.
Now let’s see the basic features of this antisocial move. Terrorism will always be planned and it will always be an intentional action that is performed by a group in an organized manner. They usually aim to particular groups, authorities, government or public properties. Terrorism will always be considered undemocratic, unlawful and barbaric. Another feature is represented by the fact that it represented an intolerant approach to create a strong psychological impact in the minds of society. Why these people choose terror? Well, they don’t have respect for the democratic law and order and they don’t believe in negotiation. Even that, they want their demands to be accepted. They know very well that the government of different countries don’t tolerate the abduction and killing of innocent people and that’s why they do that.
